![]() Please let me know if there's something I'm doing wrong, or that I need to fix with audio settings. Note, I don't think it's to do with mixing and mastering because the music is already quiet on FL studio without touching EQ, Compressor, or Limiter. I don't know if it's to do with some audio settings within FL studio that is causing this problem, or that the libraries I'm using have settings too, or it may simply be my own problem not using dynamics and volumes properly. So I did a test and uploaded my exported file to SoundCloud, and I have to raise my volume to 8/100 to really hear it at a comparable level like the other orcehstral piece. For comparison, when listening to an orchestral piece on SoundCloud, my volume with headphones on is at 4/100. The quality is there though, I selected the highest export settings and it's great, but I need to raise my computer's volume to hear it. And after exporting into WAV, the music still sounded equally quiet. So basically, my music already sounds quiet before I even export it. UltraMixer is a DJ-Mixing-Software which enables you to mix digital music in various formats such as MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV or CDs in real time. The volume of the music is just nowhere near that of any music when comparing to those I hear on SoundCloud, Spotify, Youtube etc. When composing in FL studio, I use ASIO4ALL v2 for my audio setting, because my Primary Sound Drive doesn't sound as good.īut now that I finished and need to export my music, the overall low volume of the music is a problem. (Mind you that I already checked by computer's sound setting via Control Panel and the volume is normal, that is, the volume when listening to everything else outside of FL studio is perfectly fine). At first I ignored this so I raise my computer volume (headphone volume) so that I can compose at a comfortable level, modulating the dynamics, volume, panning etc. If possible, dont run it on the same USB bus as your webcam. ![]() You will need to use the Downmix to Mono option in OBS to center the mic. Your microphone will be Mono, outputting out only on the left side. If all you hear from the speakers is static or distorted sound, there could be an incorrect setting or there may be a problem with the speakers. I am composing an orchestral piece using Kontakt 6 player (Symphony Essentials and EastWest libraries), and I notice that my FL Studio play those instruments at a lower volume when compared to the other standard FL Studio instruments like the kick, bass, and snare. Use application volume controls to turn stuff down. Hi there, I am using the latest FL Studio 20 (full version) and I'm struggling with the volume of my music.
